Our Kicking Bird Master wild cherry box call is made from the finest black cherry wood from central Pennsylvania. From these trees, some of the finest cherry furniture and veneer in the world is made. Our fine box calls are made from that very same wood, the finest in the world.
The cherry box produces a high pitch call that can bring alive that old boss tom that is out there but has heard it all. Our box call makes great cuts, which will set the old tom on fire. Only the Red gods of hunters know if the trees that our boxes are made from were roost trees for wild turkeys in years past. The slate, which is inlayed in the paddle of all our box calls, comes from a slate mine in eastern Pennsylvania. It can only be mined in the summer time and is the finest slate in the world.
